Recently I've been reading some interesting things on how planning and strategy works in wartime and in rapid-decision making scenarios and it brought me to the conclusion that LoL implicates many of these methods. However, i never see advanced tactics in LoL nor do i see teams who understand the appropriate way to practice and what they are practicing for aside from the pros. I think it should be more mainstream. I cant post what those things are at the moment but I will go into more detail in an EDIT if people add input to this post
One of the biggest problems is players have the skill but lack the knowledge of where to focus their ability. This does not just mean playing with conscious attention but developing your unconscious (the part that makes all of your rapid-in game decisions) to play more perfectly. This comes from practice but you need to practice the correct way in order to build up these mental pathways that will improve your play. After that comes ability to work with others, understand your teammates, develop an overall strategy, and have fun/keep a positive attitude (people who are confident in themselves on average do much better than their less confident counter-parts regardless of knowledge or skill). -Overview concluded
Here's the breakdown of the practice routine a player must follow in order to continually improve their skill and avoid hitting plateau's or developing the wrong methods. I will add steps as a I learn them more thoroughly.
